How many times in a day do you have the feeling of being useless, not worthy enough and think of hurting yourself. The reasons usually are very futile and not so important. By acting over such small things we are actually making fun of real pain that people are fighting everyday. Listen to the story I am about to narrate to you.

'The Gutless Foodie', well gut means  stomach and gutless is vice-versa. Natasha Diddee, a 34 years old entrepreneur and a passionate food person is without a stomach. No it's not a joke and definitely not a lie. Very few number of people in this world are facing from such problems in which they lose one of their important organs and still live a perfect life. Natasha, from Delhi, is a trained chef from Dadar Catering College. Food has always been a great part of her life, but not cooking, it came when her mother was afraid that her daughter would end up being an actor as she loved theatre and drama in school, so she planned to track Diddee's mind away from it and place it to another profession. Natasha accepted her mom's decision happily as she was excited to learn what she loved the most. After completing her graduation from Mumbai, she began her culinary profession by working in different hotels.

When everything seem to be falling in place for her, she got married. The relationship between her and her husband proved to be wrong and the marriage just became a trial for survival and ended up in a divorce. In 2010, when she was living in Bangalore, she experienced a piercing pain in her shoulder and it grew whenever she used to eat. After going through a series of treatments with zero results she started losing hope. Her weight which once used to be 83 kgs dropped to being 38.

It was only when Dr. Suryaram Bhalerao from K.M. Hospital found the real reason of her problem. Due to the excessive stress and depression that she was going through during her  failed marriage that developed a tumor inside her stomach. The tumor was now big enough that it covered her complete stomach from the inside, leading to the failure of her gut. The only solution was that her stomach had to be operated and taken out. But for her there were two, either give her life up or live it to the fullest and she chose the second.

Though she suffered from various difficulties like, she couldn't eat what she loved anymore, the food would come out of her body within an hour of the consumption. Her diet was strictly monitored and she had to have 5-6 small meals in a day. Apart from all this she rose and shined. She started an Instagram handle in 2014 with name *The Gutless Foodie* in which she shares her recipes about healthy cooking and healthy living. Her page and her positivity completely inspired me in and out, giving me strength to fight every problem that rolls in my direction. These days every other person claims to be facing depression, well grow up and stop punishing yourself. What you're facing might be end of the world to you but there is so much more you need to achieve. Make a note to yourself every time you have a negative thought that "it was just a part of your life, not your life. You've had better days and you still can. Stop cribbing, start fighting. Love yourself. You're so much better than this. You are a superhuman."
